This is for those people who are, for one reason or another, filled with negativity and, whether with good intentions or not, (want to) pass them on to others:
another crushing statement
delivered with your innocent tone
you're wide-eyed and wondering
why i always leave you alone
in silence i'm feign i'm listening
as you rant on and on
just because i'm tired of fighting
doesn't mean i'm not strong
given your lack of flexibility
and your insistence that you're always right
i leave you to that delusion
and know that i've won the fight
because i know that by being open
i will learn from my mistakes
whereas you will never see yours
and will always be filled with hate
so next time you feel the need to belittle
in order to make yourself tall
i think you should stop and realize
no one listens to you at all
